Chatham Historic Dockyard
Naval Dockyard in England, dating from the Post-Medieval
A royal dockyard established by Henry VIII in the 16th century that built warships for the Royal Navy for over 400 years. The 80-acre site preserves Georgian and Victorian workshops, roperies, and dry docks. Three historic warships are on display, including HMS Gannet (1878).
