Slate Quarry in Wales, dating from the Post-Medieval

Located in the former workshops of Dinorwig Quarry near Llanberis in Snowdonia, once the second-largest slate quarry in the world. The workshops contain the massive waterwheel and machinery used to split and dress slate. Welsh slate roofed buildings across the British Empire during the Victorian era.
