Canal Engineering in Wales, dating from the Post-Medieval
A navigable aqueduct carrying the Llangollen Canal over the River Dee valley in north-east Wales, completed in 1805 by Thomas Telford. At 307 metres long and 38 metres high, it is the longest and highest aqueduct in Britain. UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009.
