Coal Mine & Brickworks in Scotland, dating from the Post-Medieval
A former colliery and brickworks site in East Lothian, Scotland, with 800 years of industrial history. Features a Cornish beam engine (1874), one of the finest surviving examples in Scotland, and Hoffman kiln used for brick-making. Coal was mined here from the 12th century until 1962.
