Die Kirche St. Johannes Baptist in Mesum ist die katholische Pfarrkirche der Gemeinde Mesum bei Rheine. In dieser Funktion ersetzte sie im Jahr 1890 die alte Kirche gleichen Patroziniums St. Johannes der Täufer auf dem Friedhof. Seit 2012 ist das neugotische Bauwerk die Pfarrkirche des Seelsorgebezirkes St. Johannes der Täufer, bestehend aus den ehemals eigenständigen Gemeinden Elte (St. Ludgerus), Hauenhorst (St. Mariä Heimsuchung) und Mesum (St. Johannes Baptist).
