Die heutige Pfarrkirche St. Martin in Hürth-Fischenich geht in ihrem Ursprung auf das 12. Jahrhundert zurück. Sie ist wie alle ihre Vorgängerkirchen dem hl. Martin geweiht, zweiter Patron ist der hl. Antonius. Beide Heilige finden sich in unterschiedlichen Darstellungen im Kircheninneren.
