Die St.-Petri-Kirche ist die evangelisch-lutherische Stadtkirche und eine von zwei Kirchen im vogtländischen Rodewisch. Die entsprechende Kirchgemeinde ist die Evangelisch-lutherische Kirchgemeinde Rodewisch im Christus-Kirchspiel im Vogtland. Seit 1924 gibt es mit der Martin-Luther-Kirche in Rützengrün eine Filialkirche von Rodewisch.
