Ein Kloster der Franziskaner in Freystadt besteht seit 1452 an wechselnden Standorten nahe der Stadt Freystadt in der Oberpfalz (Bistum Eichstätt) mit zwei Unterbrechungen infolge der Reformation und der Säkularisation. Heute leben dort polnische Franziskaner, die die Wallfahrt an der Wallfahrtskirche betreuen und in der Pfarrseelsorge in Freystadt und Umgebung tätig sind.
