Rock Art in Ireland, dating from the Bronze Age

Located in low-lying land just N of the confluence of the Blackwater and Kealduff rivers, this slab measures .9m x .65m x .35m high. It now lies outside a farmhouse, but was originally located some 300m further N. It is decorated with a cupmark and a cup-and-two rings with a radial line. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 328. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
