In mountain heath (155m OD), on a SW-facing slope. Excellent views of Cahersiveen to W and Carhar River valley below to W and SW. On the S side of a drystone field wall (long-axis E-W). A smooth and fractured flagstone (dims. 2.00m NE-SW; 1.82m NW-SE; max. T 0.35m) which is sub-oval in plan. The decorated surface (dims. 0.10m N-S; 0.10m E-W) has a W-facing aspect and bears deep, weathered fissures and natural striations (long-axis NE-SW) across its surface. Two deep, wide, parallel (long-axis NW-SE) shallow grooves (Wth 13-14cm; D 3cm) upon this stone form an undulating, wavy appearance. A single cupmark (diam. 5cm; D 4mm) is located at SE edge of stone. This stone is 1m above ground level on SE side and 0.62m above ground level on SW side.
