Store Bjergegårdsbakken (Big Mountain Farm Hill) is an Iron Age grave and settlement site on Bjergebakken hill (102 m), about 2 km north of Vestermarie. First excavated in the 1890s and listed in 1894, the site dates from around 500 BC. Excavations uncovered burned bones, buckles, swords, beads, iron keys, and small clay pots. In the surrounding countryside there are a further 14 standing stones and 3 toppled monoliths, forming part of Bornholm's rich prehistoric landscape.
