A cultural landscape in Åker parish in central Bornholm encompassing multiple prehistoric and historic settlement sites between Aakirkeby and the Almindingen forest. The area sits on rich clay soils that have supported agriculture since the Neolithic period. Recent large-scale excavations near Aakirkeby have uncovered traces spanning 6,000 years including flint tools, over 100 houses, rock carvings, and settlements from the Stone Age through the Viking Age.
