Høgdal is a cultural-historical visitor farm founded in 1796, located in the Central Jutland countryside near Silkeborg. The farm has been inherited through generations, with families making their living through agriculture and wood-related work, primarily the manufacture of wooden shoes (træsko). It is owned by the Danish Nature Agency and operated by Silkeborg Municipality as a living museum, and a local plan has been initiated to protect the valuable cultural environment.
