This kulturmiljø between Grindsted and Hejnsvig designates Cold War military infrastructure in Billund Kommune. The installations are part of the comprehensive defence network associated with Flyvestation Vandel, which during the 1950s was expanded as a NATO Redeployment Base. After the airbase closed in 2003, the NBC-secured NATO bunker from 1993 briefly housed a private Bunker Museum before being repurposed.
