This kulturmiljø covers a villa area in southern Jægersborg, part of the broader residential landscape between Jægersborg Allé, Bernstorffsvej, and Lyngbyvej. The yellow-painted gavlkvist houses on Jægersborg Allé are listed buildings, and the area includes large villas from various architectural periods along with sections of the historic Bernstorff estate. In 2005, Gentofte Municipality published a comprehensive atlas designating 33 urban environments including this area.
