This kulturmiljø designates a section of the Lystrup ejerlav covering the village and its surrounding agricultural flats (dyrkningsflade). The ejerlav preserves the layout of the historic village commons and the traces of the udskiftning land redistribution, when farms were either kept in the village core or moved out onto the newly divided fields. The area is part of the characteristic North Zealand agricultural landscape near Uvelse.
