(1873-74) og dens fabriksby udgjorde et afgrænset bysamfund syd for Odense. Kernen består af papirfabrikken, arbejder-, funktionærog direktørboliger på Demantsvej og Demantsvænget samt villabebyggelse til papirarbejdere på Solbakken. Fabrikkens vigtigste strukturer og bygninger er fastholdt i en omdannelse til boliger, service og erhverv.
