Kirken er opført 1918 - 1920 og tegnet af arkitekterne Carl Martin Smidt og Harald Lønborg-Jensen fra København. Bygningen er stilmæssigt stærkt inspireret af de gamle landsbykirker. Kirken er placeret på en lille høj og oplyst om aftenen.
