Vorre is a village in Skødstrup Parish with an unusually beautiful landscape location on top of a moraine hill along the East Jutland Ice Age borderline. The place name, appearing in 1245 as "Wortu," possibly derives from "Varde" meaning a stone mound used as a marker or lookout point. The village is notable for its well-preserved dairy Lykkesholm, established in 1890, which retains its original form including the tall dairy chimney.
