Kongens Møller is a kulturmiljø encompassing five medieval water mills along Halleby Å and the outlet from Skarresø: Tyske Mølle, Gryde Mølle, Øresø Mølle, Strids Mølle, and Rangle Mølle. All five mills likely date from the Middle Ages and were once equipped with stamp works for grain milling. Strids Mølle, first mentioned in 1336, functioned the longest -- until around 1960 -- and is a well-preserved mill complex with high narrative value about Danish mill history.
