Kulturmiljø in Denmark

This kulturmiljø encompasses the estate landscape around Kattrup Gods and Sæbygård in the area south of Kalundborg near Tissø. Kattrup is known from the 1300s, was granted to Sorø Monastery by Queen Margrete in 1339, and became crown property after the Reformation. Sæbygård is a main estate known from the 1200s, and together the estates form part of a coherent herregård landscape also including Selchausdal, Halleby Gård, and Frihedslund.
