Coal Mine in Wales, dating from the Post-Medieval

A former working coal mine in Blaenavon that operated from 1860 to 1980. Visitors descend 90 metres underground with a real miner as guide, experiencing the conditions of Welsh coal mining firsthand. Now part of National Museum Wales and the Blaenavon UNESCO World Heritage landscape.
