Iron Foundry in England, dating from the Post-Medieval
Birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. Abraham Darby first smelted iron with coke here in 1709, transforming manufacturing forever. The Iron Bridge (1779) was the first major bridge in the world made of cast iron. UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986.
