Iron Foundry in England, dating from the Post-Medieval
Located in the original warehouse of Abraham Darby's Coalbrookdale Company, where in 1709 he first successfully smelted iron ore with coke instead of charcoal. This breakthrough made cheap iron available and launched the Industrial Revolution. The museum sits within the Ironbridge Gorge UNESCO World Heritage Site.
