Set on a man-made island in the River Don, Sheffield, this museum tells the story of the city's world-famous steel and cutlery industries. The centrepiece is the River Don Engine, a 12,000-horsepower steam engine built in 1905, one of the most powerful surviving steam engines in Europe.
