Kvottrup is a small village of about 33 households in Fårup Parish, first recorded in 1573 as "Quortrup." The village is an irregular road village where well-preserved farm complexes create unusually beautiful transitions between built-up areas and the surrounding gently rolling landscape, particularly in the southern part where four farms form a clear boundary around the settlement. Its traditional layout with twin farms arranged around a road-like widening remains remarkably intact.
