Centralværkstederne (the Central Workshops) is a complex of listed buildings in Aarhus, established in 1862 as a railway workshop for the Aarhus-Langå-Randers line and expanded under DSB from 1880 as the main repair facility for Jutland and Funen. At its peak around 1949, the workshops employed approximately 1,850 people and serviced about half of DSB's rolling stock. The workshops were partially closed in 1990 and fully shut down in 2009; the buildings, designed by DSB's chief architect Heinrich Wenck, now serve as a cultural and event venue.
